Adding an IPv6 address to an existing IPv4 interface
Add the following to /etc/sysconfig/network :
NETWORKING_IPV6=yes # Enables global IPv6 initialization
IPV6_DEFAULTGW=(your ipv6 gateway in Hex) # Default gateway IPV6_AUTOCONF=noIPV6_AUTOTUNNEL=no
Then add the following to /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 (or whatever interface)
IPV6INIT=yesIPV6ADDR=(your assigned IPv6 address)IPV6ADDR_SECONDARIES=””IPV6_DEFAULTGW=(IPv6 default gateway)
